Annually, the Career Development Office organizes its Washington, DC trip, which takes place the week before the spring semester.  Since many SPEA alumni live and work in the DC area, this trip provides excellent educational and networking opportunities for current students to meet with, and learn from, Washington, DC professionals. In 2013, students had the opportunity to speak with 70+ different organizations in the public, private, and non-profit sectors through career panels, roundtables, & site visits. 90+ additional alumni and employer representatives were present at the networking meet-&-greet. In 2013, employers included U.S. Agency for International Development – USAID, The Nature Conservancy, Grant Thornton, and the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission - FERC among many others.

Please note: trips are *FREE*; but students are responsible for their own travel, accommodations, and most meals.  The Career Development Office will negotiate a reduced rate at a nearby hotel for attending students.

Registration: will open in Fall 2013, student callout meetings will be held in Bloomington and in Indianapolis
