Students | Employers | Alumni and Donors
The SPEA Student Internship Fund (SPEA SIF) supports IU-Bloomington SPEA masters and undergraduate students who contribute their skills to nonprofits, government, and social enterprises through a summer internship. The fund brings students' critical skill sets to organizations addressing important issues while providing students with excellent hands-on experience. Students who intern with an employer participating in the program are provided with a scholarship enabling them to cover basic costs incurred while interning without pay.
Internship Fund Objectives:
- To provide public, non-profit, and social enterprises with access to SPEA students' unique skill-set that could otherwise not afford an intern
- To encourage students to pursue summer internships and professional careers in these sectors
- To enrich SPEA students' understanding of relevant issues in these sectors
