Mark Case joined the Career Development Office in September 2011 as Director. Mark has been a career development professional for over 30 years, having previously served as Director of Career Services at The College of William and Mary-Mason School of Business, the Yale School of Management, and the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Prior to these roles he ran MBA recruiting for Citibank’s Chicago marketplace and managed the on-campus recruiting program at IU’s Kelley School of Business. Mark’s main focus at SPEA is on developing and enhancing relationships with SPEA alumni and prospective employers.
Mark has played an active leadership role in several professional associations (NACE, Midwest ACE, and several career development consortia), is a frequent consultant to university career services offices addressing organizational development issues, and has been a featured presenter of career services topics at conferences and seminars worldwide.
Originally from Ohio, Mark earned his Bachelor of Music degree from Kent State University and his Master of Science degree in Higher Education Administration from Miami University (OH).
Away from the office, Mark enjoys geneaology, local history, furniture restoration, watching sports (especially IU basketball and the New England Patriots), choral singing, classical and jazz music, world travel, and spending quality time with his wife, O’Connell, and their nine-pound Yorkie, Maggie.
