Today's feature: A microbank for Kazakhstan

Farkhat Yussupjanov Farkhat Yussupjanov, a recent SPEA grad whose lifelong visual impairments has sparked an interest in how societies support individuals with disabilities. His IU master's degree work in public financial administration has equipped him well to follow a dream: to establish a microbank in his native country for those individuals who can't get loans from banks because of their disabilities. In the U.S., July marks the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (see Events) and Yussupjanov has high praise for IU's stewardship of students with disabilities. More »
