Master of Public Affairs (MPA)—a two-year professional degree program that prepares students to assume management and policy roles in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors. SPEA’s MPA program is ranked second in the nation by U.S. News and World Report.

Master of Science in Environmental Science (MSES)—a two-year program that provides rigorous training in a chosen environmental science specialization as well as an exposure to the broader interdisciplinary context necessary for developing solutions to complex environmental problems. Master of Public Affairs / Master of Science in Environmental Science (MPA/MSES)—Our signature joint degree program allows students to combine rigorous scientific training with one of the nation’s top-ranked programs in policy and management for a powerful and flexible combination of skills.

Master of Arts in Arts Administration
(MAA)—a two-year program that prepares students to manage a wide variety of arts organizations, ranging from community arts programs to the nation's most prestigious arts institutions.

Joint Degrees—Combine our MPA or MSES degree with a second Indiana University degree in law, journalism, library and information science, the physical or life sciences, or the language and culture of a specific world region.
