We encourage you to review the following guidelines to assist you through the admissions process:
- Contacting Faculty: As a professional degree program, SPEA does not require you to identify a faculty member to align with in advance of the application process. In fact, we prefer that you work with the Masters Program Office (MPO) to complete the application process. We are happy to assist you in arranging a visit to SPEA, so you need not contact faculty on your own.
- School Visits and Interviews: SPEA does not require a formal interview as part of the admission process; however, a campus visit is strongly encouraged. Appointments with faculty, staff, current students and class visits can be scheduled. Please request a visit and allow at least one week's advance notice for us to personalize your visit day.
- Prerequisites: Review the prerequisites for our MPA and MSES programs.
- Application FAQs: Our Frequently Asked Questions offer additional information about average test scores and processes.
SPEA maintains a commitment to equal opportunity and nondiscrimination.
