Maximize Your Experience at SPEA
Learning and experience can be gained both in and out of the classroom.
At SPEA, we offer you the chance to boost your skills before starting
the program, and the chance to explore other opportunities after you
are here. We recognize that not everyone comes from the same background
and place in life, and our goal is to be flexible for you.
Experience. Its important, and if you’ve worked in volunteer organizations such as the Peace Corps or Americorps, we want to talk to you.
Leadership. If your interests are leaning toward the highest levels of federal government, our Presidential Management Fellows
program could be for you. Learning from leaders who are working in at
the highest levels, you’ll receive a stipend for the two years you are
in the program. And better yet, many alums of this program have been
hired to prestigious jobs through their connections.
Preparation. At SPEA we offer your the chance to
supplement your education with advance-prep classes before you begin
your graduate school experience. Whether you are an international
student who needs a jumpstart to the curriculum or whether you just need to make sure your math skills are polished enough, we have the program to help you out.
