Pre-Admissions Advising
SPEA advisors want to help any and all students interested in SPEA, regardless of whether they are planning to apply or just beginning to explore their interests. If you're already an IU student, the first step is to attend a Pre-Admissions Advising session with a SPEA advisor. Students are provided with information about SPEA's programs, admission requirements, and application process, as well as shown how coursework they have already taken or plan to take will fulfill SPEA degree requirements. We individually review your academic record and relate it to the SPEA major of your choice so that you can plan coursework and prepare for application to SPEA.
Registration is required, and sessions are capped at 15 students, so register for your choice of date early. Please use our easy online registration to select a session.
Though most students get all the information they need in one of these sessions, you are welcome to schedule a follow-up appointment with an advisor after attending a session. As we cannot see pre-SPEA students in walk-ins, we ask that you call 812-855-0635 to schedule an appointment.
