Advising

Academic Advising:  Who are we and why should you see us?

The SPEA Undergraduate Advising Office helps students through face-to-face appointments, walk-in hours, telephone and e-mail. Our goal is to assist you throughout your undergraduate academic career and provide you with the necessary tools to successfully plan your scholastic experience.

You should see us if:

  • You are thinking about studying abroad
  • You are experiencing academic difficulty
  • You want to apply for a SPEA Minor
  • You need to complete an application to graduate
  • You just need someone to talk to
  • You want to plan your academic experience
  • And, of course, if  you have questions about scheduling courses
You need to bring a current copy of your Academic Advising Report from onestart to all advising sessions, whether walk-in or appointment.  Be sure to print the expanded version of the AAR.
