Honors Program

SPEA's Honors Program indulges the talents and creativity of SPEA undergraduates who have excelled in the classroom and who are destined for leadership roles in public affairs, public health, arts administration, and environmental affairs.

To be invited to participate in the SPEA Honors Program students must be admitted to SPEA and have completed a minimum of 26 credit hours as well as achieving both a SPEA and cumulative GPA of 3.500 or above. All SPEA majors that meet these requirements will receive an invitation to participate.

Program requirements:

  • Complete three SPEA courses in your major at an honors level
  • Complete and present and Honors Thesis
  • Maintain both a SPEA and cumulative GPA of 3.500 or above
