Scholarships for Continuing Undergraduate Students at SPEA

The application deadline for all scholarships is Friday, January 27, 2012 at 5 p.m. Students will be notified if they have received a scholarship by the end of February (Dean's Council Scholars may be notified later). Incoming freshman and graduating seniors are not eligible for any of the scholarships listed on this page.

Application Process

Click "learn more" on any of the scholarships below to access additional information about the scholarship and to complete the Online ApplicationForm. Students need only complete "Part I: P&A Info" of the application once, and their profile will be saved after they select "continue" at the bottom of the screen. In additional to personal information, students are required to submit a résumé and the names of two SPEA faculty references.

Once the applicant profile is saved, students will be directed to "Part II: Individual Scholarship Application." Applicants only need to submit the personal information, résumé, and references once, however, a separate essay must be submitted for each scholarship application. Essays should be tailored toward the scholarship in question and explain why the student deserves serious consideration for the specific scholarship. Students can access the essay portion of the application as many times as they chose and will not be timed out; however, applicants cannot save their work and return to the essay later. Students are encouraged to craft their essay(s) in a word processing program and then copy and paste their work into the online form.
