SPEA on the Rhine
Public Policy and Administration in the E.U., Germany, and the U.S. (6 cr.)

Spend five weeks studying in Speyer, Germany, with excursions to Belgium, France, and other locations within Germany. Speyer is located in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate on the Rhine River near Heidelberg. Founded in 1947 by the French government, Speyer University has become Germany’s only university solely dedicated to the administrative sciences in the areas of post-graduate studies, research, and continuing education.

Who May Apply:
This program is open to advanced undergraduate students with minimum 3.4 GPA, and master’s level and doctoral students with minimum 3.3 GPA. While preference and scholarship money will be given to SPEA students, the course is open to undergraduate and graduate students from any IU department. The syllabus calls for more difficult assignments and higher research expectations placed on graduate students in comparison to undergraduate students.
