Justin Tait, President

Hi! My name is Justin Tait and I am the President of the SPEA Undergraduate Student Association for the 2012-2013 academic year. I am in the Accelerated Master's program working toward my MPA with concentrations in Public Management and Interorganizational Collaboration & Management as well as my undergraduate major in Management. I am involved in SPEA as a student ambassador and as a member of the Graduate Student Association. Outside of SPEA, I am involved in the Apartment Family Student Council, Sigma Alpha Lambda and the Ivy Tech Alumni Council. Joyniece Kirkland, Vice President

Joyniece is a junior from Gary, IN. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Arts Management with a concentration in Anthropology/Museum Studies and a minor in Art History. In addition to her role as Vice-President of SPEA USA, she is a Management Leadership for Tomorrow Career Preparation Fellow, and member of the SPEA Alumni Board Student-Alumni Committee. Joyniece is currently employed as a CommUNITY Educator with Indiana University's Residential Programs and Services office. As a CommUNITY Educator her role in the community is to serve as a resource, as well as provide innovative and quality programs that create dynamic opportunities, generate dialogue on topics of diversity and social justice, and challenge assumptions.

Abby Flick, Secretary

I am a junior majoring in Health Administration with a minor in Human Resources. Last year I was the Event Planning and SPEAwear coordinator and I've returned to the Executive Board as Secretary. SPEA USA has given me the resources to become a leader and be an active student in SPEA. I enjoy working with you all for what SPEA USA has to offer. I hope to see everyone around at our events this year!

Lauren Kelly, Treasurer

Lauren Kelly is an undergraduate student at Indiana University pursuing degrees in Environmental Management and Legal Studies paired with two minors in Marketing and Psychology. She regularly works as a volunteer at Global Gifts: A Fair Trade Store and is a server at a local Bloomington restaurant. Furthermore, she is also an executive member of Theta Phi Alpha: Zeta Chapter (External Vice President) and Phi Sigma Theta: National Honors Society. She has been a member of SPEA USA since January 2012. Being an environmental enthusiast, Lauren is thrilled to be a part of SPEA USA’s Executive Board.

Shelby Houston, Director of Social Activities

My name is Shelby Houston and I am your Director of Social Activities for SPEA USA. I am junior studying environmental management and my interests within my field lie in energy and sustainable development. I am also involved in SPEA as one of thirty SPEA Student Ambassadors. I am proud to call myself a SPEON and love anything and everything about our great school. Outside of SPEA, I am a member of Alpha Gamma Delta and served as our correspondence coordinator for the sorority for a year and have also been a part of Indiana University Dance Marathon.

Brian Howell, Special Assistant to the President

My name is Brian Howell and I am a junior studying public finance. I enjoy learning about international trade policy and hope to work internationally one day. SPEA USA has been a great opportunity for me to branch out and meet other SPEA students with similar interests as my own. I am looking forward to an excellent spring semester with SPEA USA.

Brett Myers and Alex Ostoich, Co-Directors of SPEAwear Design & Sales

Brett Myers

My name is Brett Myers. I am currently a junior studying Public Financial Management in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University. My expected year of graduation is in the spring of 2014. I am a new addition to the SPEA-USA executive team in which I serve as the Co-Director of Sales and Design. Upon my recent addition I spent the past summer studying overseas in Barcelona, Spain through the SPEA Overseas Summer Program. Along with my involvement in SPEA-USA, I am also a brother of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity currently serving as the Community Service and Intramural Chair. In my free time I enjoy playing various sports and hanging out with friends and family. I am looking forward to working with SPEA-USA and building its overall awareness throughout Indiana’s campus.

Alex Ostoich

Hello my name is Alex Ostoich. I am a Junior here at Indiana University working towards a degree in Management from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs. I am also working towards a minor in Sports Marketing. I currently hold the position of Co-Director of Marketing and Sales for SPEA-USA. My main job is to bring great SPEAwear products to the students and faculty within SPEA. I am looking towards another great spring semester here at Indiana University and SPEA!

Tony Rivera, Director of Electronics and Technology

Hey I'm a senior here at IU working towards my degree in Management. I am also pursuing a minor in Information Systems as well as a minor in Business. I helped develop this site you see here today. I am here to assist in whatever areas in SPEA USA as needed and am looking forward to a great spring semester at IU.

Catherine Teng, Director of Marketing & Social Media

My name is Panhui Teng, go by Catherine. I am the marketing director of SPEA USA. Currently, I am the first year in Accelerate Master Program, and my undergraduate major is nonprofit management, minor in Human Resources. I love chatting with people so that I love any work or job that can connect with people. On the other hand, I like travelling and doing sports.

Brooke Nurrenbern, Assistant Director of Marketing & Social Media

I am a Junior majoring in Legal Studies here in SPEA. I am from Evansville, IN and I love being here at IU. I enjoy playing with my dog and hanging out with friends. I love working with SPEA USA! All of the events are fun and well worth while! I like working with all of the members and meeting new people. My favorite event that we have put on is the Networking Brunch!
