The MA program at Indiana University is designed so that students will be able to practice as speech-language pathologists upon completion of the program.
Students with undergraduate backgrounds in speech and hearing sciences or communication disorders typically graduate in 2 years. Students with an undergraduate degree in an unrelated discipline typically take 2½ to 3 years to complete the MA program (including prerequisite coursework). Information concerning required undergraduate coursework is provided in Prerequisites and the MA Handbook.
