Assessment and Treatment of Communication Disorders related to Autism

We develop and implement an appropriate and functional program based on the individual needs and personality of the client. The treatment methodologies used are a combination of applied behavioral analysis, natural language facilitation techniques, play therapy, relationship development, and augmentative/alternative communication to include voice output devices, low technology (picture) communication books, and visual strategies. We encourage collaboration between parents, other therapists, teachers, doctors and group home staff to maximize the client’s progress and communication potential in all environments.
