Teaching Responsibilities/Interests

Photo of Julie AndersonI currently teach graduate and undergraduate courses related to stuttering, neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, and speech and hearing anatomy.

Research Interests

My current research focuses on the relationship between psycholinguistic (e.g., syntactic processing) and temperamental (e.g., adaptability, distractibility) variables, and speech fluency in young children who stutter. I am particularly interested in identifying those variables that are associated with the onset, development, and perhaps maintenance of childhood stuttering.
