Applying to TRACCS

Applications are being accepted for TRACCS Summer 2010: May 24 - July 2

It gives us a chance to be in a research setting that is not stressful and it disproved the idea that research is painful.

Who Can Apply

TRACCS was developed for minority students with a strong interest in pursuing a research and/or academic career in communication sciences and disorders. As such, undergraduate students, recent graduates, and graduate students from underrepresented groups are welcome to apply, regardless of academic major or emphasis.

How to Apply

Applying is simple. Just follow these steps:

Download the application forms from our website
- TRACCS application (pdf)
- TRACCS letter of recommendation (pdf)
Fill out the application form and attach a short statement of interest
Have two faculty members write letters of recommendation on your behalf
Request official transcripts from all colleges you have attended be sent to the TRACCS Program.
Send all materials by March 1, 2010 to:

Fees

There are no application or admission fees for the TRACCS program.

Transportation

Students are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. However, funds are available to cover these travel expenses for top students who do not live in Indiana. Notice of funding will be given at the time of acceptance to the TRACCS program.

Room & Board

Collins LLC Room & board during the 8 week TRACCS program will be available through campus residence halls. Funds will be available to cover these costs. Students may make alternative housing arrangements if they desire. Notice of funding will be given at the time of acceptance to the TRACCS program.
