AQUATICS DIRECTOR


Work Description

Individual is responsible for the development and operation of all aquatic programs. Integrates value concepts and maintains high quality, dynamic, and variable, programs. Must be able to teach classes in water.

Management Responsibilities

Supervision of Aquatic Coordinators in the development and management of major program areas in aquatic. Maintains accurate and up to date program and facility schedules for specific areas that maximize the efficient use of facilities, equipment, and staff. Develops, monitors and controls program and budgets to assure positive financial outcomes. Establishes training and certification programs appropriate to staff responsibilities.

Education & Training

Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Recreation or related field required. Master's degree preferred. Related experience in supervision, administration, and communication.

Required Certifications

Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
CPR for the professional Rescuer Instructor/First Aid
First Aid Instructor

Salary

$29,000-$31,000
