DIRECTOR OF INTRAMURAL SPORTS


Work Description

Developing, supervising, and promoting intramural activities designed to meet the recreational needs of students, faculty, and staff.

Management Responsibilities

Recruiting, hiring, evaluating, and certifying all intramural student employees. Developing all budget requests. Coordination and utilization of schedules and maintenance needs of recreational facilities, to include but not limited to the gym and intramural fields. Responsible to the Director of Campus Recreation for developing and implementing policies and procedures for intramural programs. Evaluation of intramural programs and activities. Interpretation of guidelines and statutes involving Intramural Sport Councils.

Education & Training

Master's Degree in Recreation required or a closely related field. A minimum of four years experience in a collegiate recreational sport setting.

Salary

$25,000-$30,000
