MARKETING/PUBLIC RELATIONS DIRECTOR


Work Description

Communication of organization, it mission, programs and facilities to the community at large, member and staff.

Management Responsibilities

Supervision of Volunteer Coordinator, Communications Assistant, and Graphic Artist. Supervise or assist at all special events to include; promotion, planning, and decorations. Develop and implement market research to include annual member survey; include preparation of survey, distribution and data. Prepare Program Brochures to include write, edit, layout, design, mailing, and distribution. Plan advertising with local media as needed to promote general mission, special events and programs. Provide all signage as need arises pertaining to events and programs.

Education & Training

Bachelor's degree in Sport Marketing or relating field required. Master's degree preferred. Two to three years experience in marketing and promotions of special events and programs. Communication and editing skills (written and oral) required.

Salary

$35,000-$38,000
