Individual is responsible for the overall direction of community sports operations,
revenue facilities and concessions operations, including program development supervision
of sports and concession personnel.

Oversees sports, revenue facilities and concessions operations of the department
including revenue and expenditures activities; employee payroll; maintenance of
facilities; service vehicles and equipment; program operation, risk management, evaluation
of programs and employees; and coordination of sports activities within the community.
Assesses and analyzes community recreational needs, current trends and other factors which
affect adult or youth sport activities.
Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Education, Sport Management required. Requires
knowledge in the field of Business. Minimum of four years experience in supervisory and
administration or any combination and training. Thorough knowledge of theories and
principles accepted in the field of physical education, sports management, and the ability
to apply such knowledge to meet the needs of the community.
