Welcome back to the U.S. =D

Posted on September 19, 2011  by admin  in blog   No Comments »

Hello everybody, welcome back to the U.S. Welcome back to IU, where the parking fines are abundant, where grass stretches outwards toward the horizon, further than the eye can see, where there is a 20-mile/hr. speed limit, where, when night falls, one knows not what to do.

Fret not, the IU SSA is here to make lives much more complex, fun and exciting. Be sure to check our website and facebook page regularly for updates. Coming up soon is our outlet mall shopping trip. Come with us – shop, till you drop, for winter products, or run the risk of freezing in the winter  dressed in A&F threads, or any other “luxury” items our fine College Mall offers.

Other than that, nothing much: Study hard, make friends with everyone around you and enjoy what IU has to offer (those of you planning to enter Kelley, study harder).

Yours Sincerely,

The ever-lovely, delectable and enchanting

First up, this coming Friday, April 22nd, we’re having SSA Committee Elections for 2011-2012 at 6-7pm in the Kelley School of Business. Whether you’re interested in running for any position or you would like to just cast a vote, PLEASE COME! Food and drinks will also be provided.

More information and updates could be received from the Facebook invitation page here.

Next, we’re going to be having a nice graduation dinner for the SSA Class of 2011 at the Le Petit Cafe. It will be held next Friday on April 29th, 7-9pm. We really hope that you would come join us for this special dinner, which could also serve as a meaningful farewell dinner for some of our graduates.
