For starters, we apologize for the lack of updates on this website over the summer. We had issues with the website over the summer as IU underwent a web server migration. Hopefully, everything has been sorted out and we look forward to having you use our website to be updated on our many activities this fall.
In the Spring of 2008, the SSA held its annual elections for the Executive Committee. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the outgoing committee for their hard work the past year. Our new committee consists of 6 members who will match and hopefully exceed the expectation of our association. The new members are as follows:
President - Jermaine Liao
Vice President - Rish Tamilrajan
Treasurer - Charlene Tay
Public Relations - Alexander Eu
Webmaster - Wayniq Urairat
The committee has lined up an exciting list of events for the coming semester which include paintball, the Midwestern Games and boating trip at Lake Monroe. We encourage all SSA members, existing and new alike, to actively participate in these events and make Bloomington our home away from home.
With the current popularity of Facebook, the IUSSA has created our own Facebook group (named IUSSA). Anyone is welcome to join! The group will serve as another source of information on our events and other unofficial gatherings that will take place over the semester.
We would like to take this opportunity to announce our plans for a new website which will be unveiled soon!
