Running Gauss Interactively

Gauss can be run interactively or non-interactively. The only real difference between the two modes is that you can run and edit Gauss commands simultaneously in interactive mode, which is useful if you have a simple task you wish to perform.

The steps you will have to take to run Gauss interactively varies according to the platform.

On IBM PC's:
1. Select Statistics and Mathematics from the Programm Menu and press enter.
2. Select Gauss and press enter.
On SP:
1. To run Gauss interactively, type gauss -v at the command prompt.
