Adams - Director of Facilities Management, MSD of Decatur Township
Leadership Team, Core Member Susan has worked in Decatur Township since 1984 when she began as a teacher at Valley Mills Elementary School after graduating from Indiana University where she majored in Counseling and Elementary Education. Susan has also worked as a counselor at Stephen Decatur Elementary and Decatur Central High School before becoming the Energy Management Consult for the school district. Susan has always been committed to giving back to her community. She has been president of the Decatur Education Association two different periods as well as holding several board positions in the organization. She has served on the bargaining team for the Decatur Education Association as well as being a trustee for the Hoosier School Benefit Trust for Decatur Township. She
has recently been elected to the MSD of Perry Township School Board.
She and her husband have three children. Susan believes that each
of us can make a difference and that our daily work is not our only
job.
