Kurt
B. Richter

Kurt
was born in California, raised in Minnesota, and lived for 24 years
in Alaska. He worked with the Fairbanks North Star Borough School
District in Fairbanks, Alaska, where he was a classroom teacher
in grades 3-6 and an instructor in the Alaskan Leadership Academy. Kurt retired from classroom teaching in 1997. After working as a finish carpenter
and a University Supervisor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks,
he moved "Outside" to Bloomington where he began working
towards his doctorate in education. He recently worked as a research assistant with Dr. Charles Reigeluth and as a co-facilitator of the Decatur "Journey Toward Excelence."
