Rosie O’Brien - Director of Transportation, MSD of Decatur Township
Leadership Team, Core Member

Rosie is a long time Decatur Township resident and graduated from Washington High School and Indiana University –Indianapolis. All three of her children attended and graduated from Decatur Central High School. She reports she has been married to Dennis O'Brien for 34 blissful years. All three of her children have graduated from Indiana University. She has 1 granddaughter and 1 grandson both of whom she admits that she adores. She has been the Director of Transportation for Decatur Township Schools for 6 years and says she loves her job.

As Director, her responsibilities include the day-to-day operations of the transportation department, field trips, athletic trips, and kindergarten 2-way transport. Previously, Rosie worked as a teacher, school bus driver, and Assistant Director of Transportation. Rosie has a strong commitment to the Decatur community as well as being an enthusiastic supporter of Decatur Township schools. She can often be seen around the township at many events or visiting schools to insure the safety of the transportation system.
