Larry Taylor - School Board member, patrolman for IPD, employee of United Water
Leadership Team, Original Member Core Member

Larry Taylor is currently the school board president and has been a life-long resident of Decatur Township graduating from Decatur Central High School. He has worked at United Water for the last fourteen years and, in addition, serves as a patrolman on the Indianapolis Police Department. He is an active member of the community besides his involvement with the MSD of Decatur Township as a second term school board member. His work on the school board has helped to move the district to level of a professional learning community.

He is active in the Decatur Central Lions Club, is currently President of the Decatur Girls Basketball League and coaches fifth and 6th grade football for the Decatur Youth Association. Mr. Taylor and his wife Dee have three children all of whom either currently attend or have graduated from Decatur. Of all of the accomplishments that Mr. Taylor has been involved in since becoming a board member, he is especially proud of the efforts to make up graded facilities available to all students through a well-constructed building program.
