Katherine Walton - Biology teacher, Decatur Central High School

Kathy started teaching high school science in 1995. She received her Masters' Degree in Biology in 1999. She has been an adjunct professor at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis since 1999. Kathy's love of teaching stems from the fact that she enjoys helping students investigate the world around them. She began working with the leadership team in the summer of 2004. She states that, "Joining the group has been a turning point in my personal education philosophy. I have enjoyed collaborating with this talented group of people."
