Preference is given to applicants from the original 16 target school corporations
Canditate must provide statistics on LEP student population growth that demonstrates a need
Candidate must have a valid Indiana teaching license
Candidate must provided a letter of personal intent that rationalizes the need for certification
Candidate must demonstrate a willingness to participate in research and all aspects of the TACIT program (e.g., summer workshops, best practices conference, etc.)
Candidate must furnish letters of recommendation from their ENL Coordinator and Principal
Candidate must demonstrate an ability to complete graduate-level coursework (B+ average)
Candidate must have completed previous graduate coursework equivalent to ICP requirements
Candidate should have previous ESL training, but still in need of further training
Candidate's current teaching assignment involves working with ELLs or is planning to work with ELLs (as confirmed by ENL Coordinator)
