April 2009: Hilmar travels to ESRF in Grenoble for XSW expeirments in collaboration with the Forschungszentrum Juelich and the Max Planck Institute in Stuttgart.

February 2009: Dr. Yan Ge joins our group!

January 2009: 2D to 1D coordination network transition by ligand addition accepted for publication in Chem Comm (10.1039/b822476e).

October 2008: Report on isostructural assemblies of 5,5’-bis(4-pyridyl)(2,2’-bipyrimidine) with Cu on three different substrates accepted for publication in ChemPhysChem (DOI: 10.1002/cphc.200800575). Our article will be featured on the front cover of the issue.

September 2008: Hilmar Adler has joined the group to work on a C500 project. Hilmar is working on high-resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy of supramolecular assemblies at surfaces.

Steven L. Tait

August 2008: Steven Tait Joins IU Chemistry

Steven Tait joins the IU Chemistry Department this fall as an assistant professor. His research interests are in Physical Chemistry, Materials Chemistry and Nanotechnology. Professor Tait will explore functional nanometer-scale architectures at surfaces formed by self-assembly of organic building blocks.
