Attention Seniors

In order to be eligible to receive your Twenty-first Century Scholarship, you must complete the Affirmation Form and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by March 10, 2010. All corrections to the FAFSA must be done by May 15, 2010. You can get an affirmation form during your senior exit interview at school or call us at 800-880-5213. You can do your FAFSA online after January 1, 2010 at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

College GO! Week October 12-16, 2009

College GO! Week is a statewide event to get every Indiana high school student to take action steps in preparing for college or an apprenticeship program. Schools are strongly encouraged to engage all students in some sort of college access activity during this week. Contact your school for details. Attention Seniors: Explore IUPUC Day on Oct. 30th

On October 30th from 9:15am-12:15pm seniors are invited to the Columbus Learning Center at IUPUC for a spooktacular day of fun! Students will learn: Witch College to Choose, No Bones About It, Devilishly Hot Jobs, Mummy Knows Best ,What Every Senior Should Know Before College, and Brain Street Fair. Lunch, creepy snacks, t-shirts, and ghouls provided! You must register by October 23rd.

New this year. . .All students who wear costumes will receive a $50 application fee waiver to IUPUC !

College & Career Planning Workshop at Harrison College

Harrison College Columbus Campus will host a College and Career Planning Workshop on Sunday, October 18th from 2:00-3:30pm. This fun and informative workshop begins with “College 101” for both parents and students. Breakout sessions for parents include financial aid, student/parent rights, how to “let go” of your child, and searching for scholarships. Student sessions will include the college admissions interview, overcoming test anxiety, writing a good essay for college admissions and scholarships. The event will conclude with a tour of Harrison College. All are welcome. 9th and10th grade Scholars and parents are strongly encouraged to attend. Don’t miss this event!

Scholars from around the state are invited to learn everything you need to know about these schools. These FREE events include lunch, transportation and activities! All seniors who attend get a free t-shirt!
