Faculty Member: Theodore Frick

Web Director for School of Education: I led a group of IST students to build the first Web site for the School of Education and the Instructional Systems Technology Department in 1993-94. I was appointed as Web Director in January, 1998, through August, 2005. I have moved on to research and development on a simulation game for educational systems (SimEd) and Map & Analyze Patterns & Structures Across Time (MAPSAT). See my research interests.

AECT: I have been an active member in the Association for Educational Communications and Technology for many years. Among my important contributions were needs assessment and design of Website prototypes for AECT in 1999-2001. I am past president of the Division of System Change. I am serving on the AECT Board of Directors, from 2006-2009, representing the Division for Systemic Change in Education. See my vita for further information.
