Facilities | Production

The department boasts a healthy complement of production tools for the creation of electronic media programs. Tools and facillities are available to assist students in the creation of traditional and interactive media stories.

Facility Policies

Students using the facilites must adhere to the Department's facility policies.

Studio 5

Studio 5 is a 2800 square foot High Definition teaching studio located adjacent to WTIU's Studio 6.

Production Lab

A production workspace with equipment checkout and Macintosh workstations is available for class projects. This lab is open seven days a week and is conveniently located in the Radio-TV Building R157.

Lab/Class Room 250

This multimedia lab has 18 workstations available with a broad range of software capabilities, including all Adobe and Apple media applications. In addition, each station has ProTools LE software and a Mbox for creating digital audio projects. The lab has state of the art technology for instruction with two video projectors capable of projecting high definition video.
