Lecturer, has been teaching in the Gender Studies Program at Indiana University for the past three years, joins us this year. Ms. Kelly has a B.A. in Film Production from Columbia College, Chicago; an M.A. in Communication Arts from New York University, NY; and is currently ABD in Telecommunications at Indiana University. Her research interests include representations of gender in the media; the articulation of gender and sexuality in popular culture; advertising and the consumer culture; the political economy behind the diet, exercise, and cosmetic surgery industries, eating, body image, and exercise disorders and their relationship to media representations of bodies.
