Misc. Announcements

• No lecture this week (MLK Day), however we will have labs.
• Lab this week: FCP Overview/refesher. Edit storyboard / continuity sequence exercises. You should have your footage logged and checked before lab. You may want to find some fitting music to use as well before lab. Near the end of lab we'll look at the storyboard/action sequences.
• Next week in lab we'll cover graphics and give you a refresher on how to output your movie to tape.
• Think about your various projects. Planning and scripting these ahead of time is critical. Remember that the success of a video is determined in preproduction. If you properly plan and coordinate your project, the production will be easy. The first two coming up are your Interview / Feature stories & Art Videos. Next week in lab you should have a proposal for your Interview / Feature story.

Lab this week

Edit Storyboard / action Sequences. Don't forget to write a one-page (minimum) critique. The critique is worth 5 points.

Oututting your Storyboard / Action Sequences:

Make a full-size, self-contained Quicktime Movie, and place it in the Storyboard folder in the krauseT351 folder on TCNetScratch. Be sure not to include color bars, countdown and a slate. However be sure to name the movie after your login name or IU id. (jarkraus.mov for example)
