Reality Check

• Final Projects (part 2) this week. Don't forget that you need to write a critique. These are due by the end of the week- Friday at the latest.
• The Fall 2008 Final Exam is scheduled Friday, Friday May 2 from 2:45-4:45 in Studio 5. (That's next week) We'll take the final & look at the final projects.

Final Thoughts

TV studios vary in size and shape. Hopefully this class has served as a good introduction to studio techniques and has given you a lot of practice directing.

Remember to keep an open mind and continue learning new techniques. When you leave school your education is just beginning.

One of the most important things you can do as a production student is to put a reel together. Or at least make a collection of your various projects on miniDV.

Be sure to grab all of your work off of the Profile for your reel. Even if your project didn't go as well as you hoped, there are certainly parts that you can use. (Also good for memorabilia.) Spencer's office hours are a great time to do this. Clips will be deleted next week.
