I am currently a graduate student at Indiana University in the Department of Telecommunications. My work fundamentally aims to achieve a better understanding of the way humans use communication technologies to increase satisfaction in life.

Six years of work in advertising and endless hours using page layout and design software programs have helped spur my interest in digital media. This interest grew during the past couple of years as my work became more focused on building interactive media systems.

Now, my work is moving towards a theoretical exploration of technological development and the comodification (or non-comodification) of digital media technologies. Specifically, I'm interested in the open source movement, hacker ethics and video game modding. One could say that I am studying digital anarchy.
