Students Profile: Amanda Ricks

Amanda RicksUndergraduate Amanda Ricks is a co-chair of this year’s annual Multivisions Student Communications Conference, a one-day career networking event sponsored by the Department of Telecommunications. In the past, Amanda has worked for the Indiana University Residence Halls Association as a general assembly delegate. She has also been an intern with WTIU, the Indiana University public television station. In the fall of 2008, as part of an advanced Telecommunications production class, Amanda worked on the documentary “Small Screen Cinema” which will be aired on WTIU in the fall of 2009. Amanda is a recipient of an IU Faculty Scholarship and is currently the Event and Facilities Director for the Hoosier Den, an entertainment facility run by students and located in the Foster Residence Center. Amanda is currently exploring her options for attending graduate school after completing her undergraduate degree in May of 2009.
