I received a B.A. in Communication and Film Studies at DePauw University in 2011. During my time there, I also worked in theater production as a T.A. and Costume Designer, and helped to create and organize an annual student film festival. I have spent most of my academic career analyzing films and writing research papers, and at the end of college decided I wanted to branch out and try something new. I am pursuing my M.S. at I.U. in order to develop my creative and technical skills, and to further focus my interests in film and video production. My first year at I.U. allowed me to gain the hands-on experience and skills training I was seeking through working as Associate Producer for several TV shows for the Big Ten Network, and through helping to produce and edit a documentary about Indiana's Flea Markets. I've also developed an interest in production and project management and hope to ultimately balance both my organizational and creative skills in my future career.

When I'm not busy with school I like to cook & bake, go to concerts and listen to music, travel, attempt to be crafty, watch my favorite TV series religiously, and stare at/play with my new puppy, Olive! (I'm also a really over-the-top dog lover).
