Biography:
Sujin Choi received her B.A. in Public Administration and M.A. in Communication at Yonsei University in South Korea. Before coming to Indiana University, she worked for Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation - a governmental agency affiliated with South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism - for seven years. Her academic interest lies in the social, economic and policy implications of information and communication technology. Recently, she presented her research at the International Telecommunications Education and Research Association, where she won the Best Student Paper Award, and at the Association of Internet Researchers. She is now working on her master's thesis about "How the competition in the wholesale market shaped the broadband penetration and investment," doing comparative studies about several countries.
