Biography:
Jenna is a game designer whose primary interest lies in virtual worlds. She graduated from Bates College in 2007 with a BA in Studio Arts and has been immersed in games ever since. During her time at Bates she got her first taste of the games industry working as a Production Art Intern at Turbine, a successful MMO company in Boston. After graduating, she worked at Hangout Industries, a start-up company aimed at creating a social virtual world for teen girls. Initially hired as a 3D Artist, Jenna quickly realized that game design was her passion and transitioned into the position of Designer & Reserach Coordinator. She is attending IU with the hope of building a solid foundation of knowledge around game design and virtual worlds that she can bring back to the game development community with the hope of someday becoming an industry leader in the design of virtual worlds.
