In 2012, I obtained a B.A. in Journalism from China Youth University for Political Sciences in Beijing. During my college time, my interest in media as a possible career matured. At our campus radio station, I hosted a popular show for three years and eventually became the station's program director. I developed skills in communicating with my audiences and co-workers, and learned how to manage a middle sized college medium.

As an undergraduate I was actively involved in various media off campus. I was an editor intern for China National Radio in the summer of 2010, designing and producing music programs and public service ads. In 2011, I worked for the Beijing Bureau of CBS News for almost five months. I participated in research, production, and have even conducted pre-interviews. Some news stories I contributed to went on hit shows such as CBS Evening News. I also worked for Qmoon, a Chinese nationwide internet radio as a music program host for two years in my part time, sharing music and stories with audiences all over the country.

Being an M.S. student in the management track in Telecom, I want to learn more about the communication industry (especially radio and new media) from different perspectives, sharpen my critical thinking and creative abilities, and prepare myself for a possible future career as a communication consultant or media manager.

I am a subtle combination of social animal and loner. I feel comfortable and natural when I communicate with people, but I do enjoy every minute of quality time I spend with myself. In my spare time, I sing, read, write short stuff on Tumblr and play table tennis. I am also crazy about going to different places and meeting new people. Currently I am learning to cook Chinese dishes.
