I love making films and videos and enjoy all aspects of the production process from conceptualizing and writing to producing directing and editing. After graduating from Grand Valley State University in 2005 I spent a year living in Los Angeles where I interned at Anonymous content and worked freelance on art departments for commercials and music videos.

While attending graduate school at Indiana University I have focused on creative writing as well as shooting and editing both narrative and documentary style productions.

Some of the highlights of my work at IU include a documentary I directed and produced called "All that Remains" which explores the financial and environmental cost of American funeral practices. I also co-wrote, co-produced and directed "Dead Christmas", a horror short that was shot in 3D.

In the last two years I have traveled to many locations including Wyoming, South Dakota, San Diego, Baja, Guatemala and Guadalupe Island while working as a co-producer and cinematographer on the Junco Media Project – a documentary piece that explores scientific field work and evolutionary biology. The Junco project should be ready to screen in the spring of 2011.
