I grew up in Shanghai, China and graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law in 2012, with a B.A degree in Journalism. Meanwhile, I also received a B.A in English Language and Literature from Shanghai International Studies University. During the past four years, I've worked in different media organizations including website, newspaper, TV station, AD and PR agency. Now I join IUB, Telecommunications as an M.A student to continue my education in media studies. In the future, I plan to pursue a PhD and start my career in scholarly research.

My research interest primarily revolves around uses and effects of the media, focusing on roles media play in young people's cognitive and social development. Beyond this, I'm also interested in psychophysiological measures as indicators of cognitive and emotional responses to media. Another research interest of mine is to study how strategic media campaigns, especially health campaigns, are used to reach young people and affect their decision-makings and conduct.

In my leisure time, I love traveling and reading. Besides, due to my interest in world culture, I have a fanatic love for language studies. Up to now, the foreign languages I've learned include English, German, Spanish and Korean. I hope to make friends with more people from different cultural backgrounds.
