Biography:
I graduated from Hunan University in China in 2010, with undergraduate majors in broadcasting and television writing and directing. During my college years, I focused on documentary films and finished some award-winning documentaries. I was also a part-time English teacher who taught the reading part of the TOEFL test for one year. These experiences allowed me to communicate with different kinds of people and opened for me a gate to the research of communication. Those seemingly abstract and boring theories in communication appealed to me and made me become more mature and sensible. The interdisciplinary study of Communication with other subjects such as Journalism, Psychology, Law, Advertising, IT and Social Science, etc, all helped me to get a better understanding about the essence, history and development of Communication as well as to broaden my vision. In particular?I am interested in communication and how the media influences audiences from the psychological aspect. This is what I want to study in IU.
In my leisure time, I love reading, cooking and traveling. And because I have a dream to go to France, I also spend some time everyday studying French.
