Multi-camera Live Performance Production – T436
Instructor: John Walsh

This course allows you to produce and shoot live performance events at IU. In a partnership with the Jacobs School of Music, students will cover a variety of live performances at the MAC (Musical Arts Complex). Performances ranging from jazz and vocal groups to national ballet and opera will be switched live for broadcast. Students will function in multi-camera production crews and work independently to write, produce and shoot field packages. Performances will be streamed live on the IU Jacob’s School Channel, providing special opportunity to contribute and experiment with interactive web design. Through experiential learning participants will develop marketable skills and gather professional quality footage for their demo reel.
