Eleanor Owicki holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, and a B.A. from New York University. Her research focuses on theatre and the Northern Irish peace process. She has published articles and reviews in Theatre Symposium, Theatre Journal, and Eccumenica, and is a past Assistant Editor of Theatre Research International. Eleanor has presented at many conferences including the Association of Theatre in Higher Education, the American Conference of Irish Studies, the American Society for Theatre Research, and Performance Studies International. She is also a dramaturg, having worked on productions including Lynn Nottageís Intimate Apparel, John Fordís Tis Pity She's a Whore, Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weillís Threepenny Opera, and Euripidesís Trojan Women.
