Mission Statement

The Teaching and Learning Centers (TLTC) provide assistance in exploring and integrating technologies into university teaching and learning.

The Centers serve as both a working environment and a contact area for faculty, instructors, and campus instructional technology providers in the design, development, implementation and assessment of teaching and learning materials for both classroom and distributed education.

TLTC provides workshops and presentations, one-on-one consulting, and as much direct practical experience applying teaching and learning technologies as faculty members and instructors need or request. TLTC also serves as a general resource for IU departments and staff.

The TLTC staff have training and experience in areas such as instructional development, interface design, multimedia and web authoring, Windows and Macintosh computers, instructional servers, class conferencing, and course management systems.
