Images

Photographs, negatives, slides, maps, charts, line drawings and other images can be digitized at TLTC using one of our scanners. Consultants are available to help with the scanning process. Once the images are digitized, they will need to be edited for presentation on the web or on the screen (as for Powerpoint). TLTC staff can help optimize images for screen presentation. Brief step-by-step instructions explain these processes.

Video

Video can be digitized and prepared as cross-platform movies for use in presentations, CD-ROMs, DVDs, and on the web. The process includes three phases: recording, editing, compressing. Read overviews of the process of getting movies to the electronic screen and compare a video clip prepared with two different compressions.

Audio

Recording and/or digitizing audio files is possible at TLTC. The consulting staff is available to help with the equipment and software.
